The AMI Spotlight is on Pat Smith, Office Administrator of the Egg Harbor Township Office. Pat has been with Atlantic Medical Imaging for 20 years. She began working at AMI in the file room while she was attending the Atlantic City Medical Center School of Radiologic Technology.
As the Office Administrator, Pat's goal is to ensure the office is well staffed and all patients receive the highest level of service and care. She wants the patients to feel confident that the staff members are knowledgeable and compassionate towards their needs. Pat says that the most rewarding part of being an Office Administrator is being able to help our patients. Sometimes they are faced with devastating health circumstances, and knowing that we can make a difference by accommodating their needs and comforting them during their exam is extremely important.
When she is not working, Pat is the current Scout Master of Troop 126 in Mays Landing. She has been involved with the Boy Scouts since her son was 7 years old. He is now 18, and a newly ranked Eagle Scout. Pat continues to participate because she is able to see her nephew learn and grow as a Boy Scout. Getting to see both my son and my nephew grow into role models is very rewarding.
Camping and traveling are also activities Pat enjoys outside of work. She believes that being a tourist is a fun way to experience a new place.
If you see Pat at your next appointment in EHT, be sure to say hi! Continue to check back for more AMI Spotlight features!
